The Visual Communicator
(a.k.a. Photographer & Head Honcho)
Julian W. is a renowned, Singapore-based photographer. Passion, an innate love for nature and a strong desire to be nature’s ambassador got him into nature photography. Since 1995, Julian has quietly but steadily built up his portfolio and has since worked with both local and international organisations, including Animal Planet, Asian Geographic and Sony.
Julian strives to capture liquid interpretations of the natural world. He writes with light eloquently, weaving images that offer a fleeting glance into a world that often escapes us as we go about our daily routine. He is an articulate guide into a fragile world that still exists, though just barely.
With each photograph, Julian tries to create a symphonic masterpiece that illustrates Nature’s ingenious inventions. He harnesses the elements and infuses them into his creations until each is ripe with the heady aroma of the natural world. He also makes it a point to travel as often as possible to capture the ephemeral elements of a fast disappearing world. Julian now runs Julian W. Photography, where his keen visual eye and photographic skills continue to be in high demand. The fledgling company first offered purely photographic services such as sale or rental of images and regional assignment photography with a focus on nature, wildlife and culture. Over the years, the business has expanded to encompass copywriting, media and publications, an image stock library, and talks and presentations.
The Tactical Magnet
(a.k.a.Creative Director)
Known as the Tactical Magnet, Jackie Chia’s forte lies in business relations and development. He is a minimalist who thinks on behalf of our customer’s customers, ensuring that a win-win-win situation is possible for a three-tier strike. Putting on his lateral thinking cap, he is often able to see opportunities and solutions that might be a barrier for our customers.
Jackie’s personal motto is “If you don't try, you never know!”.
The Resident Task Maestro
(a.k.a. Office Manager)
As the conferred title suggests, Evonne Sim is one multi-tasker. She can't seem to stand doing only one thing at a time – she is always buzzing around and ensuring things are always on the move. Effectively, this trait turns into her greatest strength as she gets her hands busy with various projects big and small.
To get things going is her calling. To see things through the end is her mission. Ever since she started her allegiance with Julian W. Photography, her most commonly used phrase seems to be "How about this (and this and that or this or that)?"
You get the idea.
